Scarecrow Mask

I built the mask from two layers of burlap, an inner hood, and thick yarn. Once the piece was constructed, I applied a coat of liquid starch and flour. This reinforced the burlap, but also washed out all of the color. Acrylic paints were used to bring the mask back to life.
